Being raised on a ranch deep in the heart of Texas… Stacy Burk is no drug store cowboy, he is the genuine article. Being used to breaking horses and driving cows, he was no stranger to working hard and taking risks. Drawing deeply from the influence of his mother, Mr. Burk was inspired to pursue a career in country music, through which he eventually caught the attention of several prestigious record labels, including Warner Records. Unfortunately, his mother was diagnosed with cancer at this point, and he returned home to Texas to care for her until her passing, after which he lost his drive to pursue a career in entertainment for nearly a decade. When he eventually returned to Nashville, he realized that the industry now heavily relied on internet production and promotion, with which he was not familiar. While trying to find another creative outlet, Mr. Burk rediscovered his zeal for photography, through which he was able to forge a successful career path.

Mr. Burk earned a bachelor's degree in equestrian science from Sul Ross State University in 1991, and presently works as the principal of Stacy Burk Photography. With his current business, he specializes in capturing people in landscape portraits, especially in dramatic outdoor locations. His breathtaking images have captured the attention of couples from all over the country bringing them long distances to be captured by his unique talents.

In accounting for his standout success, Mr. Burk credits his deep and abiding adherence to his Christian faith. Looking toward the future, he plans to return to making music. To this end, Mr. Burk hopes to expand his photography business in order to afford more time in the studio, through which he can dedicate himself to making the music he loves.

Especially if we're really interested in the location. We want the best time during our trip without wasting days of it going to the wrong places.
